Abstract
In the article the author defines the features of adult education as the process by which an adult combines his own individual experience, which is accumulated in practical activity, with the collective experience of other people, with broad social experience. Characteristics of the adult learner are analyzed. The stages of transformation of the inner world of an adult during training are described. The categories related to the erection of the inner world of the adult are defined: the category of needs, determined by the level of spirituality, humanity, reasonableness; category of abilities, caused by natural inclinations; Awareness category, Awareness, rules of action. Factors influencing adult attitudes to learning are highlighted: motivation of adult learning activity, nature of adult position in learning, the impact of practical experience of adults on learning.
