Abstract
The article describes and analyzes the changes and transformations in the educational sphere of Poland in the context of the formation of European standards of education and in the period of accession to the European Union on the basis of the European dimension of education. The global goal of the 21st century education of Poland is defined: to support the young person's personality, in particular with special needs, at every stage of its development, to develop the ability of self-education and self-improvement. The tendencies of development of modern education, incl. and special. The peculiarities of realization of the main tasks of the Bologna Declaration in higher educational institutions of Poland are considered. Practical steps of introduction of a two-tier system of education are distinguished, on the basis of which professional training of specialists in higher education institutions is considered. The main directions of improvement of preparation, development of new approaches in forming of model of professional formation of teachers are described. The author notes that an important stage in the development of the European educational space is the establishment of cooperation between the educational institutions of all countries participating in the Bologna Process. Various applications (such as ERASMUS) are being created to expand it, which not only speeds up the student exchange process but also improves it. Poland also participates in them. For this purpose, the country's higher education institutions create an ECTS information package. It provides all the necessary information about the educational institution, the directions of preparation, the teaching staff, the material and technical support, the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process, the procedure of access to training, the conditions of study and accommodation, etc. Highlighted the educational mission of the teacher of high school. The tasks and role of the teacher of higher educational institution in the present conditions are outlined. Student assessment is considered as a method of improving the quality of education in higher education.
