Abstract

This part of the analytical materials was prepared on the basis of the results obtained in fulfilling the task of the R&D department for 2018, which was to study and summarize the domestic and foreign practices of professional development of university teaching staff in terms of integration of higher education and science. The fulfillment of this task is an important and necessary stage of scientific work, which creates the basis for further research activity, the result of which will be the development of technology for professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff of universities. The analytical materials provide a systematic analysis of the practice of development of the phenomenon under study in higher education institutions of Ukraine and foreign universities; disclosed domestic and foreign experience regarding the professional development of academic staff of universities; formation of professional profiles and standards, models of professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers; assistance in the career growth of scientific and pedagogical workers in the process of professional activity; development of competences of scientific and pedagogical workers (research, value, foreign language); professional formation and development of young teachers.
