Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of the transformation of pedagogical journalism, which seems important today for many reasons. It is argued that one of them is that the preservation and development of the normative functional complex of pedagogical journalism ensures the productivity of government actions, the efficiency of the state, social institutions, directly affecting the state of society and its well-being. The attention is focused on the fact that falling out of the functional complex of any function familiar to society creates social tension, creates a problem of social identity, causing a number of fluctuations of the intended meaning. It is outlined that a certain level of national development is characteristic of the pedagogical press, because its materials serve to form a new representative of the Ukrainian ethnos.
