Abstract

The urgent task of modern domestic education is the formation of key competences of students. Key competences in the teaching of foreign languages by primary school pupils are defined taking into account the Recommendations of the European Parliament and of the Council of Europe on the formation of key competences of lifelong learning. An important means of forming key competences in foreign language lessons is the use of game activities and modern interactive technologies (in particular "Brainstorming", "Microphone", "Associative Bush", "Aquarium", "Intellect-card", etc.).
