Abstract
An important role in the formation of the modern system of postgraduate pedagogical education of the region is played by monitoring the professional development of pedagogical and managerial staff. The monitoring of the quality of postgraduate education was conducted in two directions: at the level of the regional institution & at the level of the regional postgraduate education system (inter-certification period - between the attestation and training courses for pedagogical staff and heads of educational institutions). Monitoring of quality of postgraduate pedagogical education was studied according to the most important components of the professional competence of teachers and managers, namely: motivational-value, cognitive-professional, professional activity. According to the results of the research, the author proves that monitoring the professional development of pedagogical and managerial staff is an effective tool for determining the quality of the postgraduate education of the region, ensuring the integrity and systematic process of monitoring the indicators of professional growth of pedagogical and managerial staff of territories, the basis for timely response and decision making.
