Abstract

The presentation outlines innovative approaches to teaching second-graders of the Ukrainian language in a typical educational program developed under the direction of O. Ya. Savchenko. Namely: the application of the research method during the acquisition of initial linguistic knowledge; the use of a system of competently oriented techniques, forms and teaching aids for the development of verbal dialogic and monologue speech, to form the ability to find information in texts of different types and formats; development of speech and creative abilities; research and creation of simple media products; to check student learning outcomes. The educational and methodical set for the textbook "Ukrainian language and reading. Part 1" for the 2nd class of the author KI Ponomareva, the content and didactic content of which are aimed at ensuring the implementation of these innovative approaches. Methodical recommendations on the use of the set in the educational process are explained.
