Abstract

The main components of the scientific school of the academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Viktor Oliynyk are revealed in the article, the subject of which are the principles and laws of adult education. At the beginning of the XXI century there has been widespread debate around the issue of adult education and postgraduate education in academia. It is during this period that the scientist focuses on the role of education in society and adult life, presents a modern interpretation of socio-cultural functions of education in the life of the individual, reveals the role and place of adult education in predicting and regulating social progress, shaping civil society, substantiates management practices - technical education. Exploring the issues of adult education, Victor Oliynyk focuses on the value meanings of their professional activities, reveals the importance of differentiation of education, in particular the combination of formal, non-formal and informal education, which should take into account the individual features of each adult, encourage his desire, desire and desire. learning and self-development, self-improvement.
