Abstract

Some issues of legislative support of the principle of autonomy in the activity of the basic school, components of autonomy and mechanisms of its provision are considered. Considerable attention is paid to the separate norms of the draft Law of Ukraine «On full Comprehensive Secondary Education». Possible variants of resource and scientific-methodological provision of the autonomy of the basic schools on the issues of academic, organizational, financial and personnel activities, participation in solving these issues of the community and parents are analyzed.
