Abstract

The role of the teacher in shaping the picture of the child’s world is analyzed in the article. The author shows the dependence of the quality of the picture of the child’s world on the development of the consciousness and self-awareness of the teacher, his creative abilities, personal qualities, and the fulfillment of his professional functions. The components of pedagogical maturity of the teacher are described: personal qualities and formed professional skills. The necessity of personally oriented interaction of the teacher and children as one of the most important means of the teacher’s influence on the picture of the child’s world is grounded.
