Abstract
The overall importance of the elective course at the Lyceum with an economic direction is to form an outlook for those socio-economic processes that take place in the modern world, to develop skills for assessing socio-economic, socio-political and environmental events in countries, regions and countries in general. The offered optional course is not only a source of new information on the geography of economic systems of the world, but also the basis for the formation of vocationally oriented knowledge and skills, the development of economic outlook of high school students, educates caring hosts, teaches tolerance and humanity to any nation. The program has the stamp "Approved for use in general secondary education institutions" Letter No. 22.1 / 12-G-436 dated 27.06.2018 by the Subject Committee on Geography and Economics of the Scientific and Methodological Council for Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
