Abstract
Theses cover the assessment of learning outcomes in the context of the new integrated course "Russian Language and Literature. 10-11 classes". These peculiarities are caused by the communicative orientation of the course, which aims to develop the students' creative abilities, initiative, cognitive independence, their ability to work with information, to critically comprehend it, to apply it to solving life problems. The types of assessment (current and control) that cover the main types of speech activity are identified: listening, reading, speaking, writing. The relevance of the use of formative assessment is noted.
