Abstract

The theses found that the adoption of the State standard of primary education necessitated the development of new standard plans, programs for primary school comprehensive school, the creation of new textbooks, teaching aids for teachers. It was highlighted that for the first time in the history of Ukrainian education, changes in goals and the structure of the content of education occurred on the basis of the State Standard of Primary Education. They were adopted in order to ensure a single educational space, unloading the content of primary education, creating conditions for approval personal training, orientation on the implementation of a competency-based approach to the content of education, on the formation of universal competencies.
