Abstract

The article defines the concepts of «competence» and «financial literacy» and their significance in shaping the scientific and practical knowledge of education providers in the conditions of economic socialization, in the formation of role financial competencies. Emphasized the important role of the teacher in solving such an important task as the competent growth of the younger generation in matters of financial literacy. The problematic aspects in the implementation of the competence approach in the formation of financial literacy are revealed. Possible ways of solving an existing problem are outlined. The peculiarities of entrepreneurial background creation on traditional and integrated lessons are considered.
