Abstract
Formation of subject and key competences of young students at foreign language lessons involves the use of new pedagogical technologies, including game technologies, which will help to increase the motivation of learning, better awareness and assimilation of educational material, comprehensive developmental personality of the child. In elementary school play is inferior to learning activities, which significantly changes the behavior of students, opens new sources of development of their cognitive and moral forces. However, not only does the play activity lose its psychological significance, but it also continues to develop the child's mental functions, above all, the imagination, memory, thinking, attention, communication skills in games with the rules and so on. In addition, the game motivates students to communicate in a foreign language and allows, by practicing elementary foreign language communication, to gain more confidence in their abilities and ability to interact through a foreign language.
