Abstract

It is proved that the principles are the core of the scientific method. Another important function of the principles - heuristic, they regulate research activities, direct scientific search. It is established, that today in psychology, besides the general interpretation, the term «explanatory principles of psychology» is widely used. Principles of explanation - these are defining provisions, the application of which allows content to describe the quality and characteristics of the subject of the study, build on this basis an empirical study to obtain the actual material, its generalization and interpretation. 10 explanatory principles are defined, which in a certain way are interdependent and interdependent. It has been found that adverse factors and characteristics in themselves are not always fatal for the development of personality, even in the conditions of long deprivation of basic needs. Ultimately, much is determined by the combination of various subjective characteristics of the individual that mediate their influence.
