Abstract

It is proved that the beginning of schooling is one of the most significant moments in a child's life, a period of qualitative changes in his self-awareness, it is established that pedagogy of support in the modern pedagogical community is considered as one of the pedagogical paradigms, as a special direction of pedagogical activity that consistently implements the principles of personality oriented education. The mechanisms of pedagogical support are characterized. It is theoretically justified that the goal of pedagogical support is the purposeful development of the personality of a child with impaired vision, helping a growing person in finding himself, in self-determination and self-realization, cultivating the subject's position of the child, which is realized with the help of special pedagogical technology.
