Abstract
The article presents the results of the study of instrumental values (values-means) among high school students with signs of different types of giftedness. It is proved that schoolchildren with the signs of intellectual-academic giftedness who participate in the competition of research projects are guided by the values of singleness of purpose, self-discipline, mannerliness and tolerance. School students with a high level of creativity against the background of their less creative peers cultivate strong-willed qualities, perseverance and resistance to any restrictions and regulations, they are characterized with the naturalness and unfettered behaviour, the desire for self-esteem, inner freedom and hedonism.
