Abstract
The article deals with the technology of augmented reality, gives a brief overview of existing solutions and methods of work with the augmented reality, and emphasizes the relevance of its application in the educational field in the context of the rapid development of science, engineering and technologies, and describes the applications of the augmented reality for education. The classification of augmented reality technologies for education is proposed and examples of AR-cards are given; encyclopedias, artistic and educational books, tutorials, textbooks, coloring which involves the use of technology augmented reality. The authors of the paper concluded that the use of augmented reality technology in education will increase the motivation for learning, increase the level of assimilation of information due to the diversity and interactivity of its visual representation, will allow transferring part of the research work of students to the dimension learning distance, improve the environment of learning, will promote formation of research skills, development of memory, imagination, attention, thinking, emotional intelligence, etc. At the same time, the argument was expressed that the introduction of augmented reality technology into the learning process requires special training and retraining of teachers, the development of educational programs and textbooks of new generation, adequate perception of new products on the digital market to a wide circle of the population, and the most fragmentary use of elements of augmented reality today in the training of the younger generation, the transformational transition will be facilitated.
