Abstract
Results of theoretical and experimental study of motivational and values component of social and living skills of preschool children with cerebral palsy are represented in the Article. Scientific and theoretical studying approaches (interdisciplinary, systems, activity, subject and competence one) to social and living skills of preschool children with cerebral palsy are grounded. According to system approach methodology the structure of social and living skills taxonomy is determined, wherein taxon of living skills, common taxon of social skills and macroclass of social and living skills are singled out. Study of motivational and values component of social and living skills of preschool children with cerebral palsy is based on the attitude theory. State of needs, motives, value attitude to society and everyday life of preschool children with cerebral palsy has been analyzed comparing to peers with typical psychological and physiological development, which has been shown in ten instructions: obtaining help from an adult in social and living situation; providing help to an adult in social and living situation; performing social and living assignment, obtained from an adult; readiness to ask an adult for help for successful performance of nonstandard social and living situation; performance of a started work with high quality and in time; adhering to an adult’s instruction concerning use of household utensils and appliances; joint performance of social and living tasks by children; providing help to a peer during performance of social and living tasks; readiness to express empathy; correct reacting to praise, expressed in a child’s regard by an adult. Found specifics of motivational and values component of social and living skills shall become a guideline to develop innovative technology of formation of social and living skills of preschool children with cerebral palsy.
