Abstract
At the present stage, the central figure in the educational process becomes child — speech personality. To improve the quality of speech development of a child with visual impairment in preschool is necessary to create speech developing environment, aimed at forming active cognitive relation to the world, the phenomena of the native language and speech. Reveals the following factors enhancing speech development in preschoolers with visual impairments: Speech requirements for teacher and parents; choice of effective methods and techniques for managing the development of various aspects of the children’s speech; special arrangement of the environment; studentcentered approach to each child.
