Abstract

The article is devoted to questions of changing the role of a teacher in modern innovation education. The roles of modern teachers such as controller, mentor, resource person, appraiser, organizer and facilitator, tutor are defined and substantiated. The content and tasks of the teacher's execution of each role are substantiated. As a common ground for all roles of a new school teacher, the child-oriented nature of the educational process in the 21st century is determined.
