Abstract
Abstracts of the conference devoted to analysis of the possibilities and role of school textbooks in the process of implementing activity and competence approaches in the educational environment of the school. It should be characterized by appropriate selection of the educational material, the optimum methods and technologies of its presentation, organization of different types of learning activities of students should be aimed at the formation of universal learning outcomes and educational competencies of students.
