Abstract

Among the most notable phenomena in the life of Ukrainian educators from the period 1917 - 1920 can be attributed the activities of the All-Ukrainian Teachers' Union. This professional association of teachers and public figures gathered in their ranks (as of 1919) 20 thousand nationally conscious teachers who, by their duty, considered to take an active part in the creation of the Ukrainian education system and also tried to organize trade union life in the industry.
