Abstract

The features of the moral and ethical concept of Erica Gartmann, presented in its publications 1999–2010, are considered. An attempt has been made on the basis of the use of open access information resources to trace the ways of realizing its creative heritage in practical activities, in particular, public associations for helping homeless animals in Germany. It is argued that the humanistic focus of research and applied developments of the German researcher is focused on the further embodiment of her ideas in the original concept of psychological help to children in the process of interaction with animals.
