Abstract

The thesis addresses the current trends in school education in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is concluded that the general education system of the Federal Republic of Germany is characterized by pan-European tendencies of development (expansion of inclusive education, extension of school day, development of early education), but in the context of internal challenges (large numbers of migrants, leaving school at an early age, lack of qualified pedagogical staff) trends reflecting the state of modern society.
