Abstract
The research identifies current trends in the reform of school education in the Republic of Poland, namely: improving the quality and accessibility of education; reforming the structure of school education; actualization of socially-oriented reforms; intensification of introduction of innovative technologies; formation of key competencies; building a lifelong learning system; increasing the prestige of the pedagogical profession, modernizing educational standards for teachers.
