Abstract
The article shows that practical philosophy emerged as the embodiment of the idea of ethical orientation as the final destination of philosophy, but the same moral goal is pursued by a significant measure of the philosophy of education, as well as education in general. It is proved that the philosophy of education appears as a practical philosophy in two main ways: first, the theoretical philosophical ideas obtained in the educational process receive their practical application and testing; secondly, in the field of education, as a set of educational practices, those new philosophical practices are born, represent a new type of practical philosophy, which itself claims the status of Philosophia prima.
