Abstract
The article establishes that at the present stage of the socio-economic development of Ukraine in the conditions of transition to a democratic political system and market relations, the teacher’s activities are filled with qualitatively new content related to the increasing complexity of the social tasks of educating young people, referring to the social significance of pedagogical work, expanding the scope of activities, and democratizing - educational process. It is shown that one of the priorities of the tasks is the improvement of the educational space that meets the needs of the present, and at the same time ensured the development of the educational sphere of the state that would have its own advantages and achievements. It is proved that the successful solution of the problems identified above will contribute to a more rapid reform of education in our country.
