Abstract
The article states that Ukraine ensured the right of persons with special needs to meet educational needs. Special institutions were formed in accordance with the educational needs of "children with disabilities in physical or mental development in general education, social assistance and rehabilitation", provided for the creation of conditions for the provision of educational, medical, social services to such persons and promoted their integration into society. It was proved that, in a special school, depending on the type, remedial-rehabilitation classes were conducted on subject-practical training, physiotherapy, speech therapy, rhythmics, social and spatial, spatial orientation, development of auditory, visual, tactile perception and communicative activity, formation of pronunciation and language in order to correct primary and secondary disorders, the expansion of the experience of socio-psychological adaptation.
