Abstract

The essence of diction is analyzed as one of the important criteria of expressiveness and clarity of oral speech and literate reading aloud. The most frequent functional dictation drawbacks of pupils of 1-2 classes are highlighted. The directions of pedagogical work, content blocks, principles, which provide improvement and development for children with clear diction are substantiated.
