Abstract
The author, having studied the problem of coherent speech in the educational environment of the elementary school, notes that such speech is the process, the activity of the speaker, the listener, sequential presentation or perception of thoughts, knowledge of one person. Contemplative speech is also called the product of this activity - a text-statement, the characteristic features of which is semantic and structural unity. Coherent speech is a section of methodological science, which sets the task of teaching children to understand, reproduce and build expressions.
