Abstract
The author focuses on the communicative approach to teaching Chinese. The communicative approach is close to the process of mastering the language in the natural environment, that is, there is a feasible selection and rational organization of speech and speech material, which provides communication needs of pupils within the spheres and topics of communication envisaged by the programs. At the same time, the individual features and capabilities of pupils, their level of motivation and readiness to master the Chinese language are taken into account.
