Abstract
The theses describe the use of games, gaming technologies, simulation / "active" technologies, gaming practices, conducting scientific and cognitive experiments in the context of the introduction of STEM-education positively affects the learning process and since childhood contributes to the formation of basic skills of the XXI century. Children / students develop initiative, self-confidence, desire for victory, team spirit, creativity, wit, ingenuity, the desire to experiment and explore, ability solve complex problems, solve conflict situations, interact critically through language and media, draw conclusions, and so on.
