Abstract

The experimental textbook "Technologies" for students of the 5th form of secondary schools of Ukraine is the result of a fundamental study of the problems of the content of technological education in the basic school, conducted by the laboratory of labor training and polytechnic creativity of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The textbook will contribute to the development of design and technological competence, the development of students' creative abilities, and the improvement of the quality of their technological preparation.
