Abstract

The article presents the interpretation of the term "responsibility" in philosophical and pedagogical literature. The content of the responsibility of a child with special educational needs, from self-care skills to awareness of autonomy is revealed. The ways of development of responsible behavior skills for children with special educational needs of children of elementary school age are described.
