Abstract

The article presents an overview of the system of vocational (vocational) education in Ukraine and a description of the specificity of the training of teachers of vocational training in higher education institutions. The component structure of the system of professional (vocational) education in Ukraine is characterized; problems are identified in its development at the present stage; The specifics of the legislative regulation of the development of professional (vocational) education in Ukraine and the measures taken in the direction of its modernization are highlighted. A comparative analysis of programs for the training of teachers of vocational education in higher education institutions of Ukraine is carried out. The problems and directions of improvement of practical training are determined.
