Abstract
The features and significance of design and technological activity as the basis for development of pupils' creative abilities, formation of their creative personality have been considered. It is emphasized that the method of projects is oriented on independent activity of pupils. The method of formation of the basic concepts of design and technological activity in pupils and the essence and significance of its main stages have been considered in the article.
