Abstract
The reform of the educational sector and decentralization - the transfer of power and finance from government to the people as close as possible to the people - lead to modernization changes or the development of a new innovative state educational policy. Decentralization in education is a component of reforms that are actively being implemented in Ukraine and considered as an effective mechanism for improving the efficiency of public administration and the quality of education, bringing it closer to the real needs of society, the economy and the individual.
