Abstract

The article reveals a methodological rationale for restoring the life continuity of IDPs that has suffered as a result of prolonged trauma residency using art-therapeutic technologies as part of a group of socio-psychological adaptation, which is aimed at integrating people into new communities. In particular, types of life continuity, consisting of emotional, functional, cognitive, interpersonal and personal continuity and resource channels according to the BASIC Ph model, contributing to the restoration of life continuity due to activation, are indicated, and the nature of their interaction has been elucidated. The criteria for the selection of art-technician for the activation of resource channels in IDPs, based on the conditions of implementation and taking into account the specific context of the socio-psychological situation in society, are also defined. These criteria are simplicity, efficiency, resource, reality, short duration of time. The basic principles of the preparation of a group of socio-psychological adaptation are derived, in particular the principle of sensitivity trauma (attention to the psychological characteristics of people who have experienced traumatic events), the principle of subjectivity (focus on increasing the subjectivity of the individual), the principle of ecology (taking into account the socio-psychological characteristics of the situation), the principle of orientation on needs (to identify the conscious and unconscious needs of the participants). Conscious needs and unconscious psychological needs of IDPs are described, namely, positive emotions, a sense of security and safety. The stages of the group of socio-psychological adaptation of IDPs are defined, namely: 1) motivational – the determination of the psychological needs of the participants and the motivation of the IDPs to participate in the work of the group; 2) basic – implementation of the program of restoration of life continuity; 3) post-program – psychological support of the community for mutual help and support.
