Abstract

The approaches to research of problems of political identity in modern political psychology are analyzed. A wide range of studies is devoted to the discovery of socio-psychological mechanisms and factors of the origin (formation, design, transformation) of identity, as well as the laws of its influence on mass political consciousness and behavior.
