Abstract

The monograph highlights the unity of the question: the age-old peculiarities of children at the start of school education, methods of neuropsychological diagnostics of morphofunctional readiness for their entry into school space. The materials of the interdisciplinary discussion are summarized, which can greatly influence the teacher's idea of how to prepare a child for school. The concept of preparing children for school is developed. According to the results of neurobiological and neuropsychological research, the stage of correctional-synapsic training was developed. Directions (neurobiological and neuropsychological), models (correction-synapsychic and corrective-preventive) and the content of correction-development training are revealed. Methods of enhancement of the energy potential of the child's organism, development of spatial representations as a basis for the processing of information and the method of formation of a succession-simultaneous information processing have been developed. The monograph is addressed to educators, speech therapists, psychologists, and students. The monograph may be useful for teachers and parents of future first-graders, as it will help them better orient themselves in the specifics of the work of the educator and constructively interact with him in solving common tasks of education and upbringing of children.
