Abstract

The main objective of the study of astronomy in the profile school is the formation of general cultural competence, the scientific world outlook and the foundations of a system of knowledge about the methods and results of studying the laws of motion, physical nature, the evolution of celestial bodies and the universe as a whole. The main tasks of studying astronomy are based on the requirements of the State standard of the basic and complete general secondary education.
