Abstract

The paper clarified and specified tasks for the activities of government to address issues of environmental safety, taking into account the specific conditions of life of people in some regions of Ukraine. Determined that the principal direction of approach requires active public participation in the implementation of environmental policy, practical steps need direction of information basis in the policy of environmental safety.
