Abstract
At the current stage of Ukraine's development, there is a need for sound, consistent and in-depth reforms of the whole system of educational services, taking into account the requirements of the European Union. The analysis of the distribution of powers in the domestic educational field shows that the decision-making process, planning and management of education in Ukraine mainly focuses on financial, legal and logistical aspects. For successful centralization and decentralization in Ukraine, it is very important to explore and use the successful experience of the European Union and the United States.
