Abstract

The article proposes an approach to identifying the competence component of Internet socialization participants, based on the concept of competence as an activity characteristic of a person, its structure, features of the type of activity performed by a high school student in the Internet space. The types of activities that a high school student performs in the Internet environment are considered. The main competences that the senior pupil must master for the successful performance of the leading type of activity of this age – educational and cognitive – are singled out.
