Abstract

The article focuses on the ideas of man-centered paradigm as a strategic way to improve modern education. The author reviews the conceptual basis of formation of system of knowledge about man in high school students. It gives the analysis of the value of knowledge about man for the development of personality. The relationship between natural and humanitarian knowledge for understanding the phenomenon of a man is considered.
