Abstract
The problem of monitoring the level of formation of subject competences as a component of quality management education is highlighted. The structure of subject competencies analyzed as a dynamic combination of motivational, philosophical, content-procedural and emotional-value components. The feasibility of using such a criterion of its formation as the ability of the student to establish logical сconnections between the acquired knowledge and practical situations is substantiated. The emphasis is on the peculiarities of developing test tasks as the most effective tool for assessing the level of competence generation.
