Abstract
The process of reforming the education system in Ukraine which based on the Concept of the new Ukrainian school and other normative documents is considered. The features of the Mathematics curriculum are revealed for the elementary, basic secondary and secondary education. The main methodological approaches on which teaching of mathematics is based are described. The purpose and content of teaching mathematics at each of the educational levels are considered. The cross-cutting lines of key competencies ("Environmental safety and sustainable development", "Civic responsibility", "Health and safety", "Entrepreneurship and financial literacy"), which are envisaged to be implemented in the process of teaching mathematics at school, are highlighted.
