Abstract

The article highlights the issue of local geography component of an innovative approach in teaching physical geography. The basic methodological approaches to the use of ICT in the process of regional researches at the geography lessons were represented. A special attention was paid to the activity of teachers and students in the studying of local geography at the geography lessons. An analysis was conducted on the need to review the methodological approaches related to the innovative approach to local geography component in teaching physical geography.
